INGREDIENTS
1 cup maple syrup
1/2 cup soft butter
1/2 cup milk
3 cup flour
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
METHOD
Beat syrup and butter to a cream. Add eggs well beaten, and vanilla. Add milk alternately with flour mixed and sifted with baking powder and salt. Roll lightly on floured board to 1/8 inch thickness, and cut with a cookie cutter. Place on greased cookie sheet and bake 10-12 minutes in 400 degree oven.
Yield: 4 dozen.
